St. Paul's Church strives to be open in spirit, deep in faith, rich in worship, and active in service.
Who we are
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Holyoke, is a sacramental church with Jesus Christ as our center. We are called by God to be good stewards of our blessings and to spread God's Word. We do this by responding to the needs of our parish, our community and our world through prayer, education, service, hope and love.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church is a member of the The Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts.
Priest-in-Charge: Rev. Marisa Egerstrom
The St. Paul’s Vestry is pleased to announce that, by unanimous decision, we have selected The Reverend Marisa Egerstrom as our new Priest-in-Charge. Marisa will be coming to us from St. Stephen’s Church in Boston and we are anticipating September 10, 2017 to be her first Sunday with us. Visit our Transition Process page for more information.
Retired pastor Rev. Barbara Thrall
Our thanks go out to the Reverend Barbara Thrall who shepherded the people of Saint Paul's with grace, compassion and kindness for ten years. After a 30 year career of ministry, she began a well-earned retirement July 1, 2017.
Rev. Barbara was ordained in 1986 in the Diocese of NY, after attending The General Theological Seminary in NY City. She served as an assistant in a congregation there from 1986 until 1990, when she moved with her family to northern New Hampshire to pastor a church there. She and her husband, Ed, moved to Holyoke so that she could become rector of St. Paul’s in May of 2007.
